Founded by 14 year old Isaiah Navarro (center of photo below), Military Children’s Charity collects and distributes new gifts year-round to Military Family Program Officers, who in turn distribute these gifts to their own military families.
Also, Military Children’s Charity provides gifts year round to military children who have lost a parent in service to our nation via our Richard K. Johnston Bereavement Program. MCC cannot exist without monetary donations from the American public.
Military Children’s Charity, Inc. was founded by Isaiah Navarro when he was a 14-year old student at Mater Dei (Catholic) High School. During Fall 2009, Isaiah chose to collect toys for his school service project in order to donate them to a non-profit. The charity gifted toys to the children of deployed American Servicemembers during the holiday season. Isaiah’s father, at the time, had been a United States Marine for over eighteen years and was stationed overseas again, this time for his entire freshman year. (Isaiah’s father has since retired from the U.S. Marine Corps and works for the U.S. Federal government).

An entire generation of American military children have grown up and never known our country during a time of peace.
